New England, United States

Whenever I’m in Boston, I forgo public transit and walk aimlessly around the city’s maze of streets and alleys.  Boston’s downtown is notoriously difficult for outsiders to navigate, and I’ve often compared the historic streets to the scribbles of a kindergartner – although, I think this makes visiting Boston interesting.

  1. I think the streets are a big reason why this city reminded me of the U.K. There were some areas in which I would have thought I was in Europe if i just happened to wake up in Boston.

    1. I completely agree – Boston and Montreal are two North American cities strongly reminiscent of Europe, which is why I love visiting each of them!
